Kawasan Universitas Tanjungpura menjadi bagian dari ruang terbuka Kota Pontianak saat ini mulai ramai dikunjungi masyarakat, peningkatan jumlah kunjungan terlihat jelas sejak ditatanya taman-taman yang berbatasan langsung dengan Untan yaitu Taman Sepeda. Disisi lain memberikan dampak positif warga dan masyarakat kota memiliki area nyaman dikunjungi, namun disisi keberadaan juga mendatangkan sektor informal seperti PKL. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi pola sebaran dibentuk oleh PKL di sepanjang kawasan khususnya koridor jalan Auditorium (Jln Moh Isja), faktor seting apa saja berperan dalamnya, hasil penelitian dapat rekomendasi awal dalam penataan Untan.
